1. INTRODUCTION

Settled and Styled provides home organizing, cleaning and styling services in Southwest Florida. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

It applies to settledstyled.com, to our booking and contact forms, and to the lead forms we run in advertisements on Facebook and Instagram.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you give us. When you contact us, request a walk-through, or book a service, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the address or description of the space you want us to work on, and anything else you choose to tell us about the job.

Information you give us through Facebook or Instagram. If you complete one of our lead forms on those platforms, Meta passes us the name, email address and phone number on your account, along with your answers to the questions in the form.

Booking and payment information. Our online booking runs on Wix. If you book and pay through the site, your payment is handled by Wix and its payment providers. We receive confirmation of the booking and the amount, and we do not store your full card details.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we automatically receive technical information including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the links you click, how long you stay, and the site or advertisement that sent you. Section 5 explains the tools that collect this.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.


3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and arrange your free walk-through

  • quote for, schedule and carry out the services you have asked for

  • take payment and keep accounting records

  • contact you about a booking, including changes and reminders

  • answer questions and handle any problems

  • understand how people find and use our site, so we can improve it

  • measure which advertisements bring us enquiries, and show advertisements to people who have visited our site

  • meet our legal and tax obligations

If you have asked us for a walk-through or a service, we use your details for that purpose. We will not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry alone.


4. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

We share information only where it is needed to run the business:

  • Service providers who operate our systems — our website and booking platform (Wix), our email provider, our scheduling and accounting tools. They may only use the information to provide that service to us.

  • Advertising and analytics providers — Google and Meta, as described in Section 5.

  • Where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

  • If the business is sold or transferred, as part of that transaction.

Our team members see customer details only where they need them to carry out a job.


5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on this site. These help the site work, help us understand how visitors use it, and help us measure our advertising.

The tools we use are:

  • Google Analytics 4 — measures how people find and use the site, in aggregate.

  • Google Ads conversion tracking — tells us which advertisements led to enquiries and bookings.

  • Meta Pixel — tells us which Facebook and Instagram advertisements led to enquiries, and allows us to show advertisements to people who have visited this site.

These tools may set cookies in your browser and collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and the links you click. Some of this information is shared with Google and Meta as our advertising and analytics providers, and they may combine it with information they already hold about you.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and adjust how Meta uses your data for advertising in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.


6. FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM LEAD FORMS

We run advertisements on Facebook and Instagram that include a contact form. If you complete one, Meta passes us the details you submit — typically your name, email address and phone number, along with your answers to the questions in the form.

We use those details only to contact you about the free walk-through and the services you asked about. We do not use them for any other purpose, and we do not sell or share them.

Meta's own handling of your information is governed by its privacy policy, not this one.


7. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

We keep enquiry and customer information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete your information sooner and we are not required to keep it, we will.


8. YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you

  • correct anything that is wrong

  • delete your information

  • stop contacting you

Email edita@settledstyled.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Florida residents may have additional rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights. The same email address applies.


9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If we make a significant change to how we use your information, we will make that clear on this page.
